Prelude To Glory

". . . as fulfilling artistically as it is emotionally."  ---Kevin B.

"A truly emotional composition. Several of us were
in tears in many rehearsals and this
afternoon's performance."

Prelude Press

. . . is celebrating a full year since the release of PRELUDE TO GLORY and its World Premiere in Washington DC with the National Philharmonic and choirs from across America. Since then, there have been numerous performances Connecticut,  Arizona, Louisianna, Florida, Utah, California and elsewhere.  The most recent presentation of PTG was by the Sonoran Desert Chorale.  Read what the audience and members of the choir had to say:

"The music breathed life into a dusty history that I rarely consider and made it poignantly relevant. I saw the fields; felt the sweat, the cold, the
fear, the pain.  In that two hours my heart knew hope, joy, excitement,
terror, pride, sadness, tenderness, and love.  Warm tears trickling down my face during the Memoriam were testament that my soul embraced and whispered "thank you" to the souls who gave their all for our freedom. My spirit soared to the stars, filled with hope and the promise of peace and freedom so that all might pursue and realize their dreams."

"I love choral music, but "Prelude to Glory" is exceptional in its ability to
move the listener.  I hope that it will be performed widely throughout the
United States."  --- Maripat M.

You may view the choral score and the full orchestral score in PDF format in the music link above, where you can also listen to MP3 audio files of the orchestration.  Take a look (and a listen) to the major new choral work that is sweeping the country.  Choirs both large and small have scheduled performances into their next music season.  Please contact us if we can be of any help in setting up a performance with your choir or orchestra.

What people are saying about PTG:

"No costumes needed.  No set needed.
 No ponderous text with laborious
descriptions needed.  Just fine musicians and a talented conductor are all
that "Prelude to Glory" needs
to bridge the centuries and share life's
lessons and promises."
--- M.M.

"We had a glorious time yesterday
singing your work.  It is a lovely and sensitive piece which was very well received by our audience.
Some were in tears."
--- Linda D.

". . . the performance was a
'mountain top' experience."
--- C.R.

"Prelude to Glory
is a treat to sing... and elicits a wonderful range of emotion that the audience
loved."
